A recent leaking chimney we revamped! Even patched and repositioned the vent further over! This chimney had leaked several times over the years as a result of both poor planning on behalf of the architect and / or framers as well as improper flashing workmanship by the roofer. Many attempts were made at rectifying the issues but all with no success as the leaking persisted to damage the interior on several occasions. We tore everything down to the bare framing, constructed a saddle water diversion system to guide the water to the sides and away from the previous water trap area, flashed and sealed everything properly with new shingles to match, then finally re-sided the entire chimney with brand new vinyl siding.
